Contact a local university or college

  • Towson University Reading Clinic: 410-830-2558 Provides individual assessment and academic tutoring for ages six to adult. Students work individually with master's degree candidates.

Contact area high schools

Online Homework Help

www.tutor.com provides online tutoring help. Students are connected to a subject expert in an online classroom for up to 20 minutes of one-to-one help from 2:00 pm to midnight EST, seven days per week. This program is available for students in grades 4 through 12. Parents can also search for a qualified tutor in their area.

Teacher's Association of Baltimore County (TABCO)

Remedial Education and Counseling Help Program (REACH)

Call 410-467-9247. This program is a non-profit organization offering remedial tutoring, enrichment, SAT preparation, and diagnostic testing.
